Basic information on data processing

This data protection declaration informs you about the type and scope as well as the purpose of the processing of personal data within our online offer and the websites, functions and content connected with it. This declaration applies regardless of the domains, systems, platforms and devices (e.g. desktop or mobile) used on which the online offer is executed.

The processed personal data of the users include inventory data (e.g., names and addresses of customers), possible contract data (e.g., services used, names of clerks, payment information), usage data (e.g., the visited web pages of our online offer, interest in our products) and content data (e.g., entries in the contact form). We process users’ personal data (this includes all categories of data subjects) only in compliance with the relevant data protection provisions. I.e. we process personal data only in compliance with a legal permission: this is justified, in particular if the data processing is required for the provision of our contractual services, as well as online services, or is required by law, a consent of the user is available, as well as due to our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation and security of our online offer in the sense of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO).

Organizational and technical security measures

We take organizational, contractual and technical security measures in accordance with the state of the art to ensure that the provisions of data protection laws are complied with and thus to protect the data processed by us against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or against access by unauthorized persons.

Data processing when contacting us

If you contact us by form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent.

Collection of basic access data

On the basis of our legitimate interests within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO, we collect data about each access to the server on which this service is located. Access data includes the name of the website accessed, date and time of access, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), host name of the user’s computer (IP address). Log file information is stored for security reasons (e.g. to clarify acts of abuse or fraud) for a maximum of 14 days and then deleted. Data whose further retention is required for evidentiary purposes is exempt from deletion until final clarification of the respective incident.

Cookies

Cookies are pieces of information that are transmitted from our web server or third-party web servers to users’ web browsers, where they are stored for later retrieval. They are used to provide basic website functions, to improve the user experience, and to mark users for certain other purposes. More detailed information on the use of cookies can be found on our Cookie Information page.

Data processing in relation to web analytics

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc, (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). The data processing is based on the legal provisions of § 96 para 3 TKG and Art 6 para 1 lit a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the DSGVO. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data is pseudonymized.

Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information thus generated is transferred by Google to the USA and stored there. You can prevent this by setting your browser so that no cookies are stored or by setting the cookie controller provided for this purpose. We have concluded a corresponding contract with the provider for order data processing.

Your IP address is recorded, but immediately pseudonymized. This means that only a rough localization is possible. Your IP address will be truncated and thus anonymized by Google within the European Union or in another state party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The last 8 bits of an IPv4 address are set to 0. For an IPv6 address, the last 80 of the 128 bits are set to 0. The user data is kept for a period of 14 months.

Google uses this information to evaluate the use of our site, to compile reports on website activity for us and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will, according to its own information, in no case associate your IP address with other data from Google. Under the following link you will find the current privacy policy of Google: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Integration of third-party services and content

Within our online offer, we use on the basis of our legitimate interests in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO uses content or service offers from third party providers in order to integrate their content and services, such as videos or fonts (hereinafter uniformly referred to as “content”). The prerequisite for this is that the third-party providers of this content are aware of the IP address of the user, as without the IP address they would not be able to send the content to their browser. Therefore, the IP address is required for the display of this content. We strive to use only those services whose respective providers use the IP address only for the delivery of the content. Furthermore, these third-party providers may use so-called pixel tags for statistical or marketing purposes. The “pixel tags” can be used to evaluate information such as visitor traffic on the pages of this website. The anynomized information may further be stored in cookies on the users’ device. This data may include, among other things, technical information about the browser and operating system, referring websites, time of visit and other information about the use of our online offer.

In the following list you will find an overview of third-party providers and their content and links to their privacy statements. There you will find further information on the processing of data and, in part, options for objection (so-called opt-out):

Google Maps

Maps of the service “Google Maps” of the third-party provider Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, to display various locations and directions. The terms of use for Google Maps can be found here:
https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html Privacy Policy: www.google.com/policies/privacy/, Opt-Out: www.google.com/settings/ads/.

Facebook – Social Plugin

Plugins of the social network Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA are integrated on our pages. You can recognize the Facebook plugins by the Facebook logo or the “Like button” (“Like”) on our page. An overview of the Facebook plugins can be found here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.

When you visit our pages, a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server is established via the plugin. Facebook thereby receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click the Facebook “Like” button while you are logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of our pages on your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to assign the visit to our pages to your user account. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the pages, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. For more information, see Facebook’s privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/policy.php. If you do not want Facebook to associate your visit to our pages with your Facebook user account, please log out of your Facebook user account.

Your rights

You are generally entitled to the rights of information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. For this you can contact us by letter, fax or e-mail.

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have otherwise been violated in some way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.

Changes to the privacy policy

We reserve the right to change the privacy policy in order to adapt it to changed legal situations, or in the event of changes to the service as well as data processing. However, this only applies with regard to declarations on data processing. Insofar as user consents are required or components of the data protection declaration contain provisions of the contractual relationship with the users, the changes shall only be made with the consent of the users.
